3 wk - Glaze Daze
In this 3 week deep dive focused solely on glazing, you will explore ways to imagine ahead of time how glaze will be affected by the size and shape of your wares, how to dip and layer with more precision, and get direct feedback on your results from our seasoned teachers.

Intro to Wheel II
This class is the bridge between Intro to Wheel and all of our Intermediate/Advanced Wheel offerings. It is intended for those who’ve taken our intro to wheel and feel they aren’t ready to advance to the next level. This class offers continued exposure to the full studio process—from clay to finished and glazed pieces—while giving you the time and space to practice, experiment, and grow without the pressure of an intermediate or advanced course.
Handbuilding: Slab Focus
In this session, we will cover foundational techniques for building with slabs of clay including template formed vessels and draping. In this class, Tennessy will suggest projects that will make perfect gifts for the holidays. Additionally, you will learn how to enhance your piece with thoughtful surface decoration and design (i.e. carving luminaries!). You will learn how to work with colored slips, underglazes, and glaze your final piece.
Intro to Wheel
This class is geared to those with little or no clay experience! Classes are in person! The class takes place on a day when the studio is “closed” to members.
Over the course of 6 weeks, you'll learn about the different stages clay goes through during the making process, as well as the tools and techniques used to create wheel thrown pottery. We'll teach you how to design and glaze your pieces, and you’ll be able to use everything you make once you’ve finished the 6-week course!
Altered Wheel Forms
This class will focus on altering wheel thrown forms to create unique pieces that feature handbuilt and sculptural elements. Over the course of six weeks, students will develop their personal voice through exploration of structural knowledge and manipulation of shapes. The pieces created can focus on form, function, or both.
3 wk - Carving Techniques
In this 3 week class, students will learn how to create bold surface designs utilizing underglaze and colored slip. We will layer underglazes and slips and carve designs into our surface to reveal the colors of the layers beneath.

6 wk - Mixed Level Handbuilding: Lamps
6 week class in which students learn foundational hand building techniques in order to create a fully functioning electrical lamp made of clay. This class meets every week on Wednesdays from 2-4pm starting Sept 30th. The teacher for this session is Erin King.
6 wk - Intro to Wheel
6 week class in which students learn about the different stages clay goes through during the making process, as well as the tools and techniques used to create wheel thrown pottery. This class meets every week on Tuesdays from 6-8pm starting Sept 29th. The first session of the class is 30 minutes longer ending at 8.30pm. The teacher for this session is Gwenna McKee.
6 wk - Intro to Wheel
6 week class in which students learn about the different stages clay goes through during the making process, as well as the tools and techniques used to create wheel thrown pottery. This class meets every week on Tuesdays from 2-4pm starting Sept 29th. The first session of the class is 30 minutes longer ending at 4.30pm. The teacher for this session is Aaron Weeks.
3 wk - Tiny Animal Sculpture
In this hands-on 3 week class, students will learn foundational sculpting - on a miniature scale! This class meets Wednesdays 2-4pm on Sept 2nd, 9th, &16th.

Teapots & More Wk1
6 week class in which students learn various advanced techniques such as throwing off the hump, more refined trimming, creating stronger rims, and more successful glazing applications. The teacher for this session is Ryusuke Konishi.
Ceramics Photography Wk1
3 week class in which students class you will learn the basics of portfolio style photography for ceramics. The teacher for this session is Aaron Weeks.
