REFUND POLICY:

Any changes to an order (cancellation OR switching class sessions etc) must be made at least 10 days prior to the start of the session purchased. ClayFolk cannot offer refunds for a class if the change is requested after this date. We charge a $15 processing fee for any refunds.

The Holiday Season is right around the corner! Make a special, hand-crafted gift for yourself or your loved ones! We are hosting a one day workshop in our annex studio space (The Mud Room) led by our brilliant handbuilding teacher, Erin King.

In this 2 hour session, you will be working with slab-rolled clay to create beautifully decorated ornaments to fill your home with cheer. Erin will walk you through cutting your ornaments and teach you various surface design techniques to achieve the look you want (from 3D designs, impressing objects, and colorful slip decoration).

All levels of experience are welcome!

Includes:

  • 2 hour class session in studio, meet new people, and ask your instructor questions while practicing!

    • The clay you will need to make your ornaments

    • Use of studio machinery, tools and equipment

    • Colorful slips to decorate your pieces

    • Firing & clear glazing (if desired) of up to 3 ornaments

      • *Any additional pieces that you would like fired can be added at an additional cost

  • Q: Do I have to reserve my spot ahead of time or can I just show up?

  • A: Unfortunately not, we can only accommodate bookings made in advance.

  • Q: If I wanted to take a class after I take this taster, how do I do that?

  • A: Sure. Simply go onto our website and sign up for any of our intro/beginner classes.

  • Q: What’s the age limit for the class?

  • A: 16. Anyone 16 or older may be present without a guardian as long as their guardian has signed the student agreement for them.

  • Q: Can I bring my child?

  • A: Sadly not to the class.
